Day by Day Itinerary
Arrival Nairobi - Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
As you step out of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a member of Phonex Expeditions Africa or a hotel driver greets you with a big smile: "Karibu Kenya—Welcome to Kenya!" He brings you straight to your hotel to relax, and along the way , you get your first impression of vibrant Nairobi. The next day, your driver guide takes you to an exclusive private safari that allows you to travel at your own pace. Let the adventure begin!

Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park is an amazing wildlife haven, smack in the middle of The Great Rift Valley. The Lake Nakuru in the middle of the park is its main attraction, with hundreds of birds flocking on its shores. The park used to be known for many flamingoes but rising water levels casued these birds to migrate somewhere though we still have quite a number and luckily they starting to return , and in any case Lake Nakuru is a great place to visit with its black and white rhinos, giraffes, buffalos, lions , the occassional leopards and over 400 species of birds.

En Route to the Famous Masai Mara Game Reserve
The Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most famous safaris worldwide. Located 270 km west of Nairobi. This is one of the biggest game reserves in Africa. It extends over 1,500 km² and has over 400 species of birds and no less than 95 species of mammals.
Big cats are frequently spotted here, and this is the place to watch the world-famous Great Migration between August and October, with its vast herds of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River.

Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart early in the morning with a hot breakfast and packed lunch for a full day game drive deep into Masai Mara. Explore the Mara River, famous for the Great Migration and the crossing point (August–October) yearly. Masai Mara Game Reserve is popular for the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos & buffalo—which are frequently spotted in the reserve. Also hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, jackals, gazelles, and vultures are present and can be easily spotted here.
Enjoy your bush picnic lunch at a safe , sceenic point inside the reserve. In the evening after the game drive return to your Camp/lodge to Relax by the camp fire , freshen up and enjoy dinner.

Masai Mara To Nairobi
This will be your final day in Masai Mara, as you will depart for Nairobi after breakfast with an en route game drive, arriving in Nairobi early afternoon as you bid farewell to your guide. He will drop you off at any place of your choice, e.g., Nairobi hotel, JKIA Airport or Wilson Airport. We hope you have enjoyed your safari with Phonex Expeditions Africa.
