Day by Day Itinerary
Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel. After breakfast, you will head southwest through the Great Rift Valley to the world-famous Masai Mara. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours, with scenic stops along the way. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp, followed by an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah. Expect to spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, topis, eland, and, if lucky, leopards as the sun sets over the plains. Return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Full day in Masai Mara
Spend the full day exploring Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa's top wildlife destinations. Morning and afternoon game drives take you deeper into the reserve to search for the Big Five—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos & buffalo—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, and thousands of grazing herbivores. If travelling during the Great Migration season (July-October), you may witness the dramatic Mara River crossing or huge herds on the move. You can also opt for a hot air balloon safari at sunrise (extra cost) or visit a Maasai village. Enjoy another night in the heart of the wild.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart the Mara and head north to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Rift Valley known for its birdlife and relaxing atmosphere. The journey takes about 5-6 hours. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp by the lake. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you will spot hippos, waterbucks, and fish eagles. Optionally, you can take a nature walk on Crescent Island, a sanctuary where you can walk safely among zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. Dinner and overnight stay at your lakeside lodge or camp.

Hell's Gate or leisure at Naivasha
Today, you can choose between relaxing at your lodge or taking an optional excursion to Hell's Gate National Park, one of the few parks in Kenya where you can cycle or walk among zebras, gazelles, or rock formations. It's also a popular destination for hiking and visiting the geothermal hot springs and canyons. Alternatively, enjoy birdwatching, horseback riding, or simply unwinding by the lake. return to your lodge for dinner and your final night in Naivasha
